Every person is unique. We were made that way. Each with our own purpose, look, personality, ideas, etc. Everyone knows it. It's impossible to live in this world and not know that you are different than everyone else around you. And that thought can build us up, inspire us and keep us striving to dwell in our own uniqueness.
But something that I think we don't hear enough is that WE ARE ALL THE SAME. We focus so much on what makes us different, that we forget to remember that we are all made up of the same stinking stuff! This is an idea that needs to be remembered more often. This is the idea that will bring us together and as someone once said "it's always better when we're together"
We constantly put up these walls to protect ourselves. We own our differences, and hold them so tightly that we forget that other people possess the same things. Our fears, emotions, hopes desires, likes, dislikes, fetishes, thoughts, questions, answers... We tend to hold all these things in until we get "close" enough to someone to feel comfortable letting those things out. We guard our hearts so much, though, that it is impossible to realize the sameness that we all share.
When describing myself, I have used the word "outgoing" quite a lot. "tactless" also comes to mind, and possibly "daring"- but I like to group all these words together and just say that I am "transparent". And I think we all owe that to one another. To be transparent. Show people who you are. Don't hide. Because there is so much about you that is the same as everyone else- why are we so afraid to show it or talk about it?

There’s an air everywhere
Of inconsideration and despair
I don’t consider you
And you don’t consider me
And it’s well understood
We don’t care...
...Steady now
we’re in this thing together
We’re in this together

I truly believe that the more we remember that we are all the same, the easier it will be to love one another.

And during the struggle
They will pull us down
Please, please let's use this chance to
Turn things around
And tonight we control history
Together we're invincible
Together we're invincible

Obviously we can't go around just thinking that we are all the same, when it's very clear that we are different. But remember that at the root of it all, we are bound together by the same fabric, and just woven in different ways. Circumstance & Situation put us all in different places in life- But we are all in life together.Walkin’ the line between faith and fear

There are people that I struggle so hard to relate to and it's frustrating. Then I close my eyes, take a breath, and remember- "We're playing the same game. We're in this together. We're on the same damn team"- and it becomes so much easier to love them for their uniqueness.
In addition to all of this, I have compiled a list of things that you, me & everyone you know have in common.
