Waste Not Wednesday: Imaginary Truth

Time is not real. It's merely an idea some turdnugget made up long long ago. But now we are slaves to it. Every day. Our whole lives. Sure, it's useful occasionally, and often it's a curse. Either way, most of our lives are spent paying attention to time. Getting to work on time. Staying for a specific amount of time. Never having enough time. Having too much time. Whoever decided to quantify "time" really screwed the pooch.

side note: i honestly don't really know what that expression means... so i looked it up:

"Screw the Pooch The phrase screw the pooch, meaning to mess up,
commit a grievous error, was made famous in Tom Wolfe's book The Right Stuff.
The phrase is a euphemism from US military slang. The original expression was
f*ck the dog and meant to
waste time, to loaf on the job. "
So I basically just stated that the guy who invented "time" as we know it, in fact, was wasting time?...
Now my mind is blown and I believe i just found a wormhole in the space/time continuum,
so let's just move on and pretend that didn't happen.

Bottom line is this: Time exists because we make it exist. There is nothing we can do about it now, other than to stop wasting it.

Don't waste your time Or time will waste you

This week I look ahead at things I have planned, and things I have committed to and for the first time in a long time I feel like I am not wasting any of my time. I'm taking on things that I only ever talked about before. I have time planned for work/fun/leisure/accomplishment/hobbies... Basically I feel like for once, I am in control of time- and that's the only way I can be certain that I am not wasting time on the nothing's.

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

now the only thing left is to
[there ya go]
